Message	These other cars you're refering to without these shields may not have their air flitering system postioned directly over that area. Their systems may be skewed to one side or the other. As others have mentioned, our filters need to be protected from any debris that may kick up, from any water that may splash up and need a somewhat dead air cavity to draw air from and not subject the MAF to bursts of varying airflow.
